From 2026 onwards, Formula 1 will move to Madrid, taking over the title of the Spanish Grand Prix from the current circuit in Barcelona. The new track, named Circuito de Madring, is a challenging street circuit featuring 22 corners. With a length of 5.4 kilometers, lap times are expected to be around 1 minute and 35 seconds. The Madrid circuit will feature the longest banked corner on the entire Formula 1 calendar, with a banking angle of 24 percent, making it the second steepest corner after Zandvoort’s 32 percent. Speeds on the new street circuit are expected to exceed 320 km/h.
