Official FORMULA 1 Tickets for the Austrian F1 Grand Prix 2024

On this page, you can securely and easily order your official entrance tickets for the Austrian F1 Grand Prix at Spielberg.

In 2023, Max Verstappen was phenomenal. The Dutchman secured pole position for the fourth time in a row and won the race for the fifth time. Additionally, during the sprint weekend in Austria, he was the fastest driver in every session. Will he be able to repeat this in 2024?

Selecting tickets for the Red Bull Ring has never been more convenient. Explore the various grandstands and General Admission options on this page. The Austrian GP introduces a unique option with three-corner grandstand tickets, providing access to different grandstands on each trackday. This choice has gained immense popularity, making it an excellent option for both first-time visitors and returning attendees seeking a slightly diverse Grand Prix experience.

Find below our ticket tips for the F1 in Austria.

Ticket Tips

  •  You are guaranteed to sit together if you order tickets for the same grandstand, for the same days in one order.
  • The circuit does NOT allow the selection of row and seat numbers.
  • Tickets for children are available at a significant discount.
  • All grandstands have numbered seats for all three days of the event (Friday to Sunday).
  • There is no ‘Free Friday’ where you can sit on any grandstand.
  • Tickets for Sunday only are also available with a small discount compared to three-day tickets.
  • There is a wheelchair area on the Start-Finish grandstand. Less valid spectators receive a 50% discount on all other tickets.
  • All grandstands and General Admission areas have access to large TV screens.
  • The Main grandstand and the North grandstands are covered, permanent structures. The remaining grandstands are temporary and uncovered.
  • There is limited shelter in the General Admission areas.

What are the best ticket options for the Red Bull Ring?

3-Corner Grandstands

Three-corner grandstand tickets are a good choice for visitors who are visiting the Red Bull Ring for the first time because you can watch the action from a different grandstand every day. Below we have listed the different options and where you will be seated every day of the weekend:

  • Platinum: Friday = Red Bull (H) / Saturday = Red Bull (A) / Sunday = Start-Finish
  • Gold: Friday = Start-Finish / Saturday = Red Bull (H) / Sunday = Red Bull (A)
  • Silver: Friday = Red Bull (A) / Saturday = Start-Finish / Sunday = Red Bull (H)

Main Grandstand (Start-Finish Main Grandstand)

There are two categories of tickets on the large, permanent Start-Finish grandstand. The more expensive seats are in the middle of the grandstand with a better view of the pits (sections D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N), while the cheaper sections on both sides (A, B, C, O, P, Q) are priced. Some higher seats give you a panoramic view of the entire circuit. A good choice for pit action and the start/finish of the race. If you want to see more action on the circuit, opt for the Red Bull or Steiermark grandstand.

Steiermark Grandstand

Tickets for this grandstand are rightfully the most expensive at the Red Bull Ring. From this grandstand, you have an excellent view of the first corner plus an unparalleled panoramic view of large parts of the circuit. It is a very unique view where you can follow duels across the entire track during the race! The grandstand (just like Red Bull) is also close to the Fan Zone, where the best catering can be found, plus merchandise, concerts, and the F1 Legends Parade. The downside is that the grandstand is uncovered and open to the elements which is unusual for F1 tickets in this price range. Nevertheless, one of our favourite ticket options alongside the Red Bull Grandstand Section A.

Red Bull Grandstand

This rather large grandstand is located between turns 1 and 3, with a reasonably panoramic view over a large part of the circuit. The most expensive seats are in sections A and B, which are closest to turn 1; tickets then get cheaper to section K, which is quite far from turn 1 towards turn 2. The grandstand continous through to section P where viewing angles and panoramic views are limited. From the middle sections FGHI, you will have good views of the inner circuit turns 4-5.

Turn 3 Grandstand

Situated at turn 3, the highest elevation on the Austrian circuit, this grandstand provides a superb panoramic view of a significant portion of the track. Recognized as a hotspot for overtaking maneuvers at the Red Bull Ring, turn 3 offers an exciting perspective. Equipped with a TV screen, you will not miss any of the race’s thrilling moments. Despite not being the priciest choice at the Red Bull Ring, tickets for this grandstand deliver excellent value, offering impressive panoramic views at a well-known overtaking location.

Turn 8 Grandstand

The grandstand at turn 8 is one of the more recent additions to the Red Bull Ring circuit. This turn quickly follows the well-known bull on the circuit. In terms of value for money, the grandstand at turn 8 is one of the more affordable options at the Red Bull Ring.

Turn 9 Grandstand

The grandstand at turn 9 is also one of the more recent additions to the circuit in Austria. From here, you enjoy an excellent view of turns 9 and 10, both known as two of the fastest turns on the Red Bull Ring. Additionally, from this grandstand, you have a good view of the entrance to the pit lane, allowing you to see the cars enter the pit lane among the first. A large television screen at this grandstand ensures that you do not miss any of the race action. Importantly, tickets for grandstand 9 are among the more affordable options at the Red Bull Ring.

Turn 10 Grandstand

Situated in the final corner, Turn 10 offers the final grandstand on the Red Bull Ring circuit. From this grandstand, you have a backview of the start-finish section of the circuit. A television screen ensures that you do not miss any of the race action elsewhere on the track. Moreover, the price of this grandstand is one of the most affordable options for Formula 1 in Austria.

Grandstand Schönberg

The Grandstand Schönberg is located between turns 3 and 4. With a good view of both turns, this grandstand offers a double chance to witness overtaking maneuvers, both in turn 3 and 4. Thanks to a large TV screen for the Schönberg grandstand, you stay fully informed about the race action on the Red Bull Ring circuit. Furthermore, tickets for the Schönberg grandstand are among the more affordable options at the Austria circuit.

General Admission Red Bull Ring

The general admission areas of the Red Bull Ring offer excellent viewing opportunities. The areas on the hill at the top of the circuit provide a panoramic view of large parts of the circuit, and there are multiple TV screens showing the action. Make sure to check the view from turn 3, where the cars come down hill from T3. There is also a good view on the outside of turn 2. Closer to the start/finish, there is also an excellent view of the entrance to turn 9, where the cars are truly tested to the limit. The outside of the last turn (turn 10) is also a great place to watch the action. The circuit offers plenty of space for all general admission areas due to the immensely large hilly terrain around the track. Considering the low prices for general admission places, this is one of the best races to attend affordably. Especially since it is the home race of Max Verstappen’s racing team.
