Airport Transfers

For this Malaysian Grand Prix package, airport transfers can be added as an optional extra. You will be picked up from the airport and transferred directly to your hotel. The transfers are arranged to match your own booked flights.

Circuit Transfers

Subject to sufficient participation, circuit transfers will be available. These can be added to your package according to your preferences.

Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

For your trip to Malaysia, you need a valid passport. A Dutch or European identity card is not sufficient. Your passport must be valid for at least six months upon arrival in Malaysia. Travellers with a Dutch passport do not require a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days.

Before arrival, you must complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within three days before your arrival date. This digital registration is mandatory and can be completed free of charge via the official website of the Malaysian Immigration Department. Always check the latest entry requirements before departure via the official travel advice from the government.

Are you travelling alone with a minor or is a minor travelling without both parents? Make sure to bring the required consent forms and additional documents. Please check the information and forms provided by the Dutch government. Race Experience cannot be held responsible for missing or incorrectly completed travel documents.

Visit to the Sepang International Circuit

The Sepang International Circuit is located outside the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, near Kuala Lumpur International Airport. During major racing events, traffic around the circuit can become extremely busy. Please allow for possible delays, waiting times, and longer travel times than usual.

Circuit transfers are not included as standard with this package but can be added for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you have booked circuit transfers, you will receive information about the departure location and departure times before your trip. The final drop-off location, entrance gate, and walking distance will be determined based on the official traffic plan for the Grand Prix.

If you are travelling to the circuit independently, make sure to leave well in advance and check beforehand which parking areas, shuttle buses, and access routes are available. The official transport and parking information for 2026 has not yet been published by the organisation.

Climate & Clothing

Malaysia has a warm and tropical climate. At Sepang, high temperatures, high humidity, and strong sunlight can quickly alternate with heavy rain showers. We recommend bringing lightweight clothing, sunscreen, a hat, and rain protection or a compact poncho.

An umbrella can be useful outside the busiest grandstand areas, but it must not obstruct the view of other visitors. Please check the final circuit regulations regarding permitted items before departure.

We also recommend wearing sturdy and comfortable shoes, as walking distances at and around the circuit can be considerable. If permitted, bring a refillable water bottle and a power bank. Please check the regulations regarding cameras, bags, batteries, food, and drinks in advance. These rules are determined by the event organisation and may change per event.
