The Hungarian Grand Prix is full of good news. It is by far the cheapest European race to visit. Children aged 13 and younger can purchase grandstand and general admission tickets very cheap. So if you’re looking for Cheap F1 Tickets, the Hungarian Grand Prix is the one to visit.

Hungarian Grand Prix Ticket Tips

Good to know:

  • Children aged 13 or younger will receive severely discounted prices for the event;
  • Most tickets on sale for the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix are three-day entrance tickets;
  • Race day tickets (Sunday only) are also available at a discount of approximately 10% off three-day ticket prices (as long as availibilty lasts);
  • All grandstands at the Hungaroring have numbered seating and offer views on a large TV screen;
  • Parking on the circuit is free for ticket holders, if you want to have a VIP parking, simply add this to your order;
  • The most expensive Super Gold grandstand (on the main straight opposite pit lane) is the only covered grandstand on the Hungaroring. If you don’t feel like spending three days in the hot summer weather, this is your pick;
  • The grandstand hopping offer is a solid choice for first-time visitors to the Hungaroring who want to check out various turns on the track. Six different grandstands are included in the 3-turn grandstand ticket offering for 2024. The combination packages have their name and pricing derived from where you take your seat on race day.

Ticket tips for the Hungarian Grand Prix

Bronze Grandstands

Bronze 1 From this grandstand, you enjoy an exceptional view of the chicane formed by turns 6 and 7. Considering its affordability, the perspective from this grandstand is surprisingly good.

Bronze 2 Situated adjacent to the Bronze 1 grandstand, Bronze 2 offers a significantly improved view compared to Bronze 1. This is why we recommend the Bronze 2 grandstand.

Superbronze Positioned above the Bronze 1 and Bronze 2 stands, the Superbronze stand provides an elevated vantage point, offering a superior view of the Hungaroring circuit.

Silver Grandstands

Silver 5 Located between turns 11 and 12, Silver 5 allows you to witness the cars navigating from turn 11 to 12. A large TV screen is available to ensure you don’t miss any of the racing action.

Silver 6 Positioned at turn 14, Silver 6 provides a view of the cars maneuvering from turn 13 to turn 14, which marks the final turn of the Hungaroring. This grandstand includes a sizable TV screen to enhance your race-viewing experience.

Silver 3 Situated along the extended bend of turn 14, Silver 3 offers views of cars entering and exiting bend 14. As the last turn on the Hungaroring, you can observe the cars entering the start-finish area. A large TV screen is featured in this grandstand to keep you updated on the racing action.

Silver 4 Positioned on the straight of the Hungaroring, Silver 4 boasts a fantastic panoramic view of the entire circuit, making it one of the top Silver grandstands. Additionally, a large TV screen is provided to ensure you catch all the racing excitement.

Podium Located on the Hungaroring straight, adjacent to the Silver 4 grandstand, the Podium grandstand offers another excellent viewing spot. A large TV screen is available for your convenience.

Silver 2 Almost at the start-finish line, Silver 2 provides an outstanding view of the pit lane. You can witness cars entering the pit lane and follow live strategies from the stands. A large TV screen is also at your disposal to enhance your experience at the Hungaroring.

Silver 1 Closest to the Hungaroring circuit, Silver 1 offers a breathtaking view of the straight and the pit lane. This grandstand allows you to follow all live strategies and racing action. With a large TV screen, you won’t miss any of the thrilling moments at the Hungaroring.

Gold Grandstands

Gold 2: Positioned along the straight, this grandstand provides a favorable view of the race starts. With a clear perspective of the pit lane, you can witness team pit stops right before you. Gold 1: Situated on the straight of the Hungaroring at the exact Pole position spot, Gold 1 offers a splendid view of race starts throughout the weekend. Accompanied by a large TV screen in front of the stands, you won’t miss any of the thrilling racing action on the circuit.

Super Gold: As the most luxurious and expensive grandstand on the Hungarian circuit, Super Gold stands out. Pit Exit: Positioned along the straight of the Hungaroring, the Pit Exit Grandstand provides an excellent view of both the Pit Exit and Turn 1. A TV screen in front of the grandstand ensures you stay connected to all the racing action.

Gold 4: Following Super Gold, Gold 4 stands as one of the top grandstands at the Hungaroring, strategically positioned at the apex of Turn 1. General Admission / Algemene Toegang

Similar to the Red Bull Ring, the Hungaroring is naturally nestled in a valley. This means that the General Admission areas around the track offer excellent elevated viewing opportunities, especially between turns 9 and 14. Many of the grass-covered standing areas are situated on higher ground behind the grandstands, particularly at the final turn 14. This location ranks in our top 3 of all standing zones on the entire F1 calendar. Despite the track being quite far, you have a fantastic panoramic view of large sections of the track including the starting grid! Bring binoculars so you can keep track of the action everywhere. For relatively little money for three-day entry tickets, these are some of the most affordable and beautiful General Admission tickets on the current F1 calendar.

What would be our grandstand choice for different price categories?

Budget: the grandstands of Bronze 1 and 2 offer an excellent experience for their respective prices. We prefer the views of Bronze 2, but Bronze 1 is still a great choice. Be quick, because these stands sell out very quickly.

Best Silver Grandstand? The silver grandstands are mainly clustered on the hill around the last turn 14 (Silver 1-4 and Red Bull) and offer a fantastic view. Silver 4 is located the highest and usually sells out first. The Red Bull grandstand at the top of the last corner is also popular, not only among Red Bull fans by the way.

Best Gold Grandstand? Gold 4, at the entrance to Turn 1, is the best of all the gold stands, but it is uncovered. The only grandstand that is covered at the Hungaroring and offers protection from the weather is Super Gold. Worth considering for this reason alone!

General Admission Areas

Much like the Red Bull Ring, the Hungaroring is naturally nestled in a valley. This means that the General Admission Areas around the track provide excellent elevated views, especially between turns 9 and 14. Many of the grassy standing areas are on elevated ground behind the grandstands – especially at the last corner 14. This location is prime and features in our top 3 of all standing areas on the entire F1 calendar. Although the track is quite far, you have a great panoramic view of large parts of the track, including the starting grid! Bring binoculars so you can keep up with the action elsewhere. For relatively little money for three-day entrance tickets (about 15% discount with early bird discount) these are some of the cheapest and most beautiful General Admission tickets on the current F1 calendar.
