British Grand Prix Tickets Tips
Good to know:
Sunday tickets are available for all grandstands, although you only save about 10% off three-day ticket prices;
Child tickets (15 or younger) are available for General Admission Areas and a selected number of grandstands. A child ticket can only be purchased in combination with a normal ticket;
Children under 10 years old get free access to the General Admission Areas, while tickets for children aged 11-15 years get a 50% discount;
Children’s tickets (15 years and under) for a selected number of grandstands cost approximately 50% off regular prices;
All grandstands at Silverstone provide visibility on a big TV screen and about half of the stands (the more expensive ones) is covered;
During the first two days of the event, all grandstand tickets are “free roaming”, meaning you can view all grandstands (except Club Silverstone). Keep in mind that the most popular grandstands fill up quickly, especially on Saturdays. On Sundays, you must sit in your assigned seat.
We offer you the possibility to add various extras to your order (parking ticket, inner track access, after party tickets and more). We would like to highlight that these extras can only be ordered in combination with a regular entrance ticket or package.
Which grandstands offer the best value for money?
The Club Corner grandstand is located on the last corner at Silverstone and leads to the International Pits Straight. It is a solid and popular choice for Silverstone. There are four sections in this grand grandstand – the best tickets are in section 2, closest to the pit boxes. Great seats for the best view of the post-race podium celebrations.
The Abbey grandstand is located at the end of the International Pits Straight, right next to the Abbey opening curve. From this grandstand you get a distant view of the last corner Club, pit stops and start / finish of the race, Abbey and Farm. A good choice indeed.
The more expensive and covered Village B grandstand offers an elongated close-up view of the F1 cars taking the difficult and slow Village and Loop corners. From here it is also a short walk to the Village stage where concerts are held every night during the British Grand Prix weekend. The cheaper Village A is also an excellent choice. Views on a big TV screen are available.

General Admission Tickets
The General Admission Areas at Silverstone are decent and go a long way towards justifying the relatively high ticket price. The admission areas cover almost the entire circumference of the circuit and provide excellent vantage points in some of the best corners. In many cases the areas are directly in front of the stands. The organisers have also invested in improving the General Admission experience in recent years by increasing capacity, building elevated viewing hills and moving some of the fences to get fans closer to the action.
Some of the best viewing areas of the General Admission Areas at Silverstone include the International Pits Straight (overlooking start-finish), Stowe, Luffield, Becketts, Vale and Copse Corner. It is important to claim your favorite spot as early as possible, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, as the popular areas fill up quickly.
