Passport and Visa requirements
It is important that you bring your passport. As an EU inhabitant, you do not need a Visa to enter the United Kingdom.

Electricity
In England the power plugs and sockets are of type G. The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.
Currency

it is possible to use your regular bank card to draw local currency from an ATM. Any international card with a chip and PIN should be accepted at most ATMs – although those with a Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Cirrus or Plus symbol are your safest bet. Charges are almost always incurred for non-UK accounts, although these are usually minimal and often cheaper than the commission charged by bureaux de change.
A credit cards is almost accepted everywhere in the UK (charges apply). We however advice to always bring some cash.
Weather
Summer is from June to August, most days during the summer are mild and can be hot. The temperature can vary from around 15°C to 30°C, there are occasional hot summers in the UK when temperatures can go over 30°C and closer to 35°C in places like Southern England.
July and August are usually the warmest months in the UK.
When visiting the UK, please note that there is always a change of precipitation.
Visiting the circuit
It is advisable to bring sunscreen and possibly an umbrella to the circuit for shade and possibly a downpour. Have you bought General Admission tickets? Then a camping chair and / or bedspread is recommended for sitting on the grass. Taking pictures is allowed as long as you do not obstruct the view of other spectators. Don’t forget your spare battery and memory card!

The telephone number of the tour guide can be found in the travel documents, which you will receive around 14 days prior to departure. This number is also your emergency number during the F1 journey.
